Casting lead roles in short film to be shot in August
We are currently casting for the lead roles in our short film ‘Perspective’ to be shot in August. The film aims to bring to light the various views held on sexual assault. The story revolves around the reported assault of a girl at a party, the events of which are retold through four witness accounts, each with a different opinion.

SIOBHAN
The victim. In her late teens, depending on the point of view she is seen either as; shy, kind and likeable or extremely flirtatious and promiscuous. She will be seen as differently in each account, in some as the nice girl who was taken advantage of and in others as the instigator of events.
LIAM
The accused. In his late teens, his personality differs depending on who is telling the story. In some he is seen as timid but friendly and polite whereas in others he is seen as arrogant, pushy and chauvinistic, a typical ‘lad’ basically.
ROSIE
Best friend to the victim. She is in her late teens, confident and flirtatious, she is eager to set Siobhan up with the boy who caught her eye. However as the night progresses she becomes more wary of what he is actually like and more concerned as to her friend’s safety.
GARY
Best friend to the accused. In his late teens, he is another typical ‘lad’ who pushes Liam towards Siobhan in all scenarios but for different reasons in each one. His is mostly seen as immature and obnoxious, even from his own point of view.
GRAHAM
Witness. In his late teens, he is geeky and awkward, a social outcast who has crashed the party with a friend. He has an obvious crush on Siobhan and dislikes the way the other guys discuss her.
JULIA
Witness. In her late teens, even from her own point of view she is seen as bitchy and disdainful. She looks down on most people at the party, especially Siobhan and degrades her at every possible opportunity, seeing her as ‘slutty’ and beneath her in stature.
