Audition for Amateur or trainee hairstylists wanted for new BBC programme
Are you passionate about hair? Do you know a bun from a beehive or the difference between a fishtail and a French plait?
Maybe you've always thought your home hair creations were ready for the catwalk - or you've been dishing out freebie haircuts to friends and family for years.
No matter your occupation, has hair always been your hobby? Are your kid's hairdos the envy of their classmates? Maybe you're studying hair, a salon junior or a talented hobbyist? Or do you know someone who is hiding a hair talent?
If you're an amateur hairstylist and think you could cut it in the competition then the BBC want to hear from you!
You don't need to have had any formal training to apply. If you're currently in training, you must not have completed an NVQ Level 2 or VRQ Level 2 in hairdressing.
Applicants must be 18 years and over, or 16 years and over by 1 September 2014 but with parental consent. There is no upper age limit.
