Audition for Recruiting talented and motivated children and teens in Glasgow!!
We are currently looking for talented and motivated children and teens between 6 and 16 years old to be part of different singing and dancing crews. If you love performing, having a great time, being in the spotlight, trying out new things, working hard, improving yourself and being on stage or in front of the camera, you are the person I am looking for!
The brand new crews will perform in several events across the country, make their own video clips to share across the social media, and take part in competitions. The crews offer a lot of amazing opportunities for each performer! We are very ambitious!
Though training is intensive, we always focus on having fun. Everyone in the team gets individual attention to make sure each member of the group grows and improves. Parents are always kept up to date on their child's development and can regularly attend training and rehearsals. We are a family-like group and it is very important to us that everyone feels at home in the group! (Including the parents!)
No previous experience is required, anyone who loves to sing and/or dance is welcome to try out for one of the crews. Each crew trains between 1 and 3 hours a week and prices are between 3 and 5 pounds an hour. All rehearsals take place in or around the Glasgow West End. When working towards a show or competition there might be extra rehearsals
Honeybees dance crew (ages 6-9)
The honeybees dance crew is an all round dance crew (jazz, hip hop, contemporary, lyrical, dancehall, commercial,...). It is the perfect crew for anyone who is passionate about dancing and performing and is very motivated and ambitious, Though some members will have some dance experience, experience is not required, it is okay to be a total beginner as long as you are motivated! Anyone can come along to the dance classes, no auditions!
Beehive singing crew (ages 10-16)
The Beehive singing crew is a very ambitious crew for teens who love to sing and perform. We will work on songs of all genres (commercial, jazz, pop,..), we will make original and creative cover versions of existing songs as well as perform our own original songs. We will not only work on our singing, but also on choreography, performance, confidence,.. We will be very active on the social media and we will aim to become Glasgow’s (and soon the world’s?) most famous singing crew. If you are a creative person, you will love the crew since your input will always be appreciated and you’ll really get the chance to develop yourself., You don’t need any experience to apply, but we will ask you to send us a video (e.g. on youtube) or an audio file of you singing a song of your choice.
