Audition for Glee Club for Sports Relief
Following the success of Comic Relief Does Glee Club, this Autumn CBBC hits the road in search of the more outstanding young talent in the UK. This time, 24 groups will put on the performances of their lives in the hope of being crowned Sport Relief Does Glee Club Winner 2012. A talent show that allows groups to show not just their ability but their versatility too!
Each group must have a
minimum of 5 performers and
maximum of 8 and be aged between 10 and 16 years old by the 23rd March 2012 (n.b. those currently 9 years old are eligible to audition so long as they have turned 10 years old by the 23rd of March 2012).
For the audition each group will perform 1 performance only which must have an element of both singing and dancing. The singing must be live; non vocal music/backing tracks on CD can be used and the piece no less than 1 minute, no longer than 1 minute and a half.
The audition must also show that the group has at least 2 good vocal soloists whose tone or ad libs or call and response set them aside. The soloists must demonstrate their ability (i.e. sing solo) within the group performance or after the performance at the audition.
