Audition for Talented young people wanted for Michael McIntyre's Big Show
We are making a second series of Michael McIntyre’s Big Show and we are on the lookout for talented young people aged 6 and up!
In series one, our ‘Unexpected Stars’ were all people who came along to the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane and were surprised on stage by Michael McIntyre and an audience of 2.5 thousand people. They would then get to perform on stage in front of not only the theatre audience, but a TV audience of millions.
For series two, we would like to open this exciting, once in a lifetime opportunity up to younger people (6+).
We have two different scenarios in mind for this:
1) A parent/teacher nominates a young person who is an excellent singer or dancer and we come along and surprise them in situ, whether it be at their school or theatre group. They will then rehearse and come along and perform at the theatre on our record day (Sunday)
2) One parent is in on the surprise with their child and they are hoping to surprise the other parent with a performance between the two of them. For instance, a father and daughter learn a dance routine in secret and on the day, they surprise the mother live in the theatre.
We want you to nominate young people who have an exception talent ... singers, dancers, musicians, impressionists, circus skills ...
Remember - this is a SURPRISE so please keep nominations a secret!!
Nominations must be for someone aged 6 and over as at 1st August 2016
