Shooting in Scotland and London this feature (black humour) movie has a ‘Shirley Valentine’ theme with a twist.
Several roles available:
SALLY
Early - Mid 30's, London born and bred, works hard, family orientated but little real substance to her life until she meets Vivesh. Sally is VERY girl next door in her appearance, an older version ‘Saffy’ from Ab Fab.
COLIN
Mid to late 30’s, Sally’s completely staid, unaffectionate, unsympathetic and dreary partner – open ethnicity. Think manual worker with TV-dinner mentality.
MELANIE
18-22 HOT sister of Sally deeply resentful of Sally for anything and everything in life and will do anything to pay her back including sleeping with Colin and Vivesh.
JENNY
18-22 (Not so hot...) Melanie’s twin sister who feels she was put on earth to cover up Melanie’s misdemeanours. Jenny is totally sympathetic to Sally whilst struggling with her overwhelming feelings towards Danny.
DANNY
Very easy on the eye two-timing boyfriend of Melanie, has aspirations to achieve everything, yet does nothing about it; Danny is in his early 20’s. Open ethnicity. Bring on that Essex/wide boy appeal.
VIVESH
Asian 30 something, charismatic, self-styled spiritual guru with a pompous self-righteous approach to everyone else’s life. Think classically Buddha of Suburbia.
CLIVE
This character will be late 30’s-early 40’s convinced that he is in love with Colin – yet has never divulged his sexuality. The bigger personality, character, size the better for this role please...
