Audition for Casting new drama for CBBC - ages 10 to 17
Casting is underway for 11 lead characters between the ages of 10 and 17 for a new 13-part drama for CBBC.
This is a really big opportunity for young actors. The casting director is looking for actors from a range of ethnic backgrounds and physical abilities and is keen to find really good young talent.
You don’t have to have had previous experience, just a raw talent and desire to act.
This 13-part drama is about a world with no adults and aims to be the ultimate in child-empowering drama offering a vision of how life would be for children on planet Earth with no adults. The series will dramatise both the jeopardy and the opportunity afforded by putting children in charge of our world, and what’s more, in charge of saving it.
Quite simply, it is a drama series for children featuring only children.
The series will be shot in Bristol for 13 weeks from Monday 26 July – we wish to cast as many children as we can from Bristol and the surrounding area but we will also be looking at children from all over the country.
Castings will start week commencing Monday 19 April up until the beginning of May.
