Audition for Couples aged 16 - 17 and getting married in 2015 wanted for Channel 4 documentary
16 OR 17 YEARS OLD AND GETTING MARRIED? WANT A FREE WEDDING VIDEO? WANT YOUR SPECIAL DAY TO APPEAR ON TV?
We are making a TV documentary for Channel 4 about people who are either 16 or 17 years old and are getting married.
Our film would take place 24 hours before the young couple plan to get married.
We'd be looking to document how they spend their last night of freedom, their reason for getting married and speak to friends and family about their opinions. We would then see the preparations on the big day and film parts of the wedding alongside interviews from the young couple before and afterwards.
The focus of this show is to celebrate young love and marriage.
We want to tell the story of people who are young and in love, exploring and celebrating what it is like to get married when you’re so young.
We want to interview you about your wedding plans and then film with you on the day of the wedding – getting ready, the marriage ceremony and the party afterwards. No matter how big or small your wedding day – we would love to hear from you.
To thank you for taking part in this project we will provide you with a free copy of the documentary, all professionally shot, to remind you of your special day.
NOTES:
- Either groom or bride (or both) must be aged 16 or 17 on the date of the marriage
- Marriage ceremony must be due to take place this year (2015)
- We particularly encourage people from under-represented groups and communities to get in touch
